Christmas & New Years
You are in the right place if you are dreaming of a Scandinavian festive season that feels genuinely magical, not rushed or overcrowded. We specialise in carefully chosen festive experiences across Finnish, Swedish and Norwegian Lapland, from glass igloos beneath Arctic skies to cosy log cabins surrounded by snow-covered forests. Meeting Santa in Lapland remains a deeply memorable highlight, especially when enjoyed in calm, intimate settings.
We specialise in multi-generation family travel experiences and escorted tours, designing holidays that suit different ages, travel styles and expectations.
Availability over the core Christmas dates is already limited. Where possible, we recommend travelling just before the peak Christmas period. Flights are often better value, destinations are quieter, and Santa experiences and festive atmosphere are remarkably similar. New Year’s Eve is also a wonderful time to visit, with local fireworks and celebratory events across the region.
Our Nordic experts can assist with pre- and post-stays in Nordic capitals. Cities, such as Helsinki and Tallinn, offer atmospheric Christmas markets, ice skating and festive shopping, making them ideal additions to your journey.
Many of our holidays feature private cabins or apartments exclusively for your family, with activities operated in small groups for a more relaxed, authentic experience.

Christmas in Saariselkä
Celebrate Christmas above the Arctic Circle in Saariselkä, one of Finnish Lapland’s most accessible and atmospheric winter destinations. Based at Santa's Hotel Tunturi, this four-night programme combines classic Arctic experiences with comfortable accommodation in the heart of the village.
The trip includes snowmobiling across frozen landscapes, a visit to a traditional reindeer farm, a husky sled safari and relaxed winter activities such as ice fishing. An evening toboggan experience from Kaunispaa Fell provides panoramic views and the chance to witness the Northern Lights.
